
Bleeding Heart
Reserved yoga instructor May’s (Jessica Biel) peaceful, clean-living life is thrown out of balance by the arrival of her long-lost sister Shiva (Zosia Mamet), a street-smart yet naive young woman trapped in an abusive relationship. May feels compelled to rescue the hapless Shiva, but she finds herself increasingly drawn out of her sedate world and deeper into Shiva’s chaotic one.

The movie was originally titled “Shiva and May” but when they announced they would premiere at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival they also changed the title to “Bleeding Heart.”
Premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 16th, 2015. Jessica did not attend the premiere but Director Diane Bell and co-star Zosia Mamet did.
The film was released on VOD and Digital platforms on November 3rd and had a limited theatrical run which started on December 11th, 2015.
