On February 16, 2017 Jessica appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The main purpose of her visit was to debut the trailer for her USA thriller “The Sinner.”

Jessica and Jimmy of course are close friends, and discussed some of the things going on in her life. They talked about her instagram post about eating in the shower, the “Book of Love” and the upcoming Oscars. Eating in the shower saves time? Sign me up.

Jimmy revealed that at a dinner party Jessica told him about how her and producing partner, Michelle Purple, wanted to pitch “The Sinner” to USA. He gave her a person to contact and the rest is history!

“The Sinner” is an eight episode close-ended series that follows a mother (Biel) who has an unexplained violent incident and has no idea why. The thriller follows the characters as they try to figure out why this act of violence happened.

“The Sinner” premieres on USA this Summer.
